ESL Emulator was developed to let you replace faulty or broken ESL (electronic steering lock) in Mercedes vehicles.

Simply unplug original ESL (steering lock) and plug our emulator in place.

All models of Mercedes cars from 2001-2014 suffer from faulty ESL units.

The ESL Emulator simulates the operation of the Electronic Steering Lock module. It is used in case of a broken (or removed) Electronic Steering Lock unit. The ESL emulator replaces the ESL signal and enables turning the ignition and starting the engine. There is no need to replace the ESL Unit anymore.

Make sure the problem with turning the key and starting the engine is caused by faulty ESL module. Faulty ignition, faulty key and faulty glow plug relay module give similar symptoms.
The engine will not start if you replaced the original ignition with a used ignition from a different car. The ignition has the chassis number (VIN) encoded.
