Steering Column Lock Emulator:
This emulator is designed to replicate the original ESL signal, allowing you to check and verify faults related to the Steering Column Lock (SCL). If the steering lock is suspected to be faulty, connecting the emulator can help confirm whether the issue lies within the lock itself.
If the vehicle starts normally with the emulator connected, this indicates that the original steering lock is defective. Please note: if the steering lock is physically stuck, it must be removed from the vehicle before installing the emulator.
Once connected, the emulator simulates the electronic signal of the SCL without requiring extra coding
Key Features:
✅ Emulates the ELV/ESL steering lock module
✅ Plug & Play*
✅ Supplied with instruction manual
✅ Secure packaging included
Item Description
What is ELV / ESL?
The ELV (Electronic Locking Vehicle) / ESL (Electronic Steering Lock) is an electronic steering lock powered by a motor. Occasionally, it may malfunction.
When should it be replaced?
If you are experiencing any of the issues listed below, it indicates that your ELV/ESL needs to be replaced:
Car won't startDashboard lights won't turn onSteering wheel cannot be unlockedAuto parts do not respond when the ignition is switched on
How our emulator works
Our emulator replicates the original ESL signal, helping to diagnose and resolve steering lock issues. When the steering lock is faulty, an SCL error may appear on the dashboard, preventing the car from starting. By connecting the emulator directly to the plug that normally leads to the ESL (in place of the defective lock), you can confirm whether the problem lies with the steering lock. If the vehicle starts normally with the emulator installed, it indicates that the original steering lock is faulty.
Generally, plug and play, but in some cases deleting the fault codes with a diagnostic device may be required.
