The emulator fits one specific version of the seat occupancy mat used in Mercedes X‑Class models W470 and W471 - please see our gallery. 

The emulator is compatible ONLY with the wiring harness shown in the third photo . It will NOT work with seats that use the large yellow connector found in models such as Mercedes W212, W204, and similar.

Before purchasing, please check the connector under the passenger seat . If you're unsure, you can send us a photo with the VIN, and we will confirm compatibility.

⚠️ Important Notes 

Installation should be carried out by someone knowledgeable and able to solder or join the wires correctly. During installation, take great care not to cause a short circuit - even a brief moment of +12V touching the signal wire will damage the emulator. All connections must be properly insulated. After installation, clearing the fault codes with a diagnostic device will be required.

Item Description

The emulator simulates a correctly functioning seat occupancy sensor (seat mat), making the vehicle detect that the seat is always occupied. It sends the same signal to the airbag control unit as a seat mat does when a passenger is seated. This device simulates a person sitting in the passenger seat with the seat belt fastened. To use the emulator, you will need a diagnostic tool (such as the latest models from Autel, Bosch, iCarsoft, etc.) to clear any existing errors from a defective passenger seat mat stored in the airbag control unit. Once the emulator is connected, your diagnostic tool can remove the old errors and turn off the SRS/airbag warning. Please note that errors related to other safety systems cannot be cleared automatically. This emulator is intended as a diagnostic device to verify that the car installation is working correctly and that any dashboard errors are caused by a faulty seat occupancy sensor. ⚠️ Please ensure you have the same plug before purchasing.
